In short
Signing in with Google is used only to identify you, so your progress can sync between your devices. Your data is never sold, shared or disclosed to anyone.
What is stored
- Without signing in: nothing leaves your device. Your progress is kept in your browser's local storage.
- When you sign in: your Google account's email address, used to recognise you and to check that your account is allowed to use sync. No other Google data is requested (no contacts, files, profile details or Google API access) and no Google tokens are kept.
- When you sync: your learning history (which lessons you learned, your review answers and your app settings), stored so your devices can share it.
- A session cookie, used only to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, ads or tracking of any kind.
Where it is stored
Synced data is stored on Cloudflare (Workers and D1), which hosts this site. It is used for nothing but syncing your own progress back to you.
Your control
- Export your full progress at any time (Settings → Export progress).
- Sign out at any time; your progress stays on your device.
- Resetting your progress while signed in clears it from sync. To have everything about your account removed from the server, including archived history, contact the site owner.
